Moments
You hid your face
this morning.
I got a glimpse of you
just a glimpse
why?
Did anybody hurt you
the grey cloud?-
so protective
not revealing
The power and strength
of your presence
Then you fought
In gentility you
shot out
much brighter
even without the orange
you shone so bright.
The silhouette on the lake
agrees to that
right in my face
where sorrow lay
where pain harbored
you helped me realize
that I need to live in the moment...
that life is not a bed of rose petals
to live now and here
where my heart sings
where love rings
in the air
where peace lives,
for this moment.
