Loves across boundaries.


Is it because we
Are human or something innate is within us
Or because
We are boundaries,
Embodied
And torn.
Broken apart by love
And made
Whole again in love.
Crescents, crosses
Symbols, differences.


But skin
Resonates against skin
And breath feeds breath.


Our desires cannot be
Human.
They must be otherwise,
They must
Be torn.


Hadud in Arabic
For limits,
Which eliminate
Opportunity,
Which close out
Illuminations.
Fantasies
Exist because of
Limits.


Love exists because of
(in spite of)
Human's capacity to
Feel across
Boundaries


Man, woman
Skin olive, brown
Eyes, hair


Heat is made
Through the friction
Of our substance
Ourselves
It is the friction of limits
The friction of boundaries
The friction of
Borders is
Fantasy.
